Seat Belts
MSA Rule R48.10.11
Belt cutters must be carried on board at all times. Both driver and co-driver must be able to reach belt cutter when seated with their harness fastened.

Prima Motorsport are pleased to announce they have moved to much larger premises. Along with their sister company Wessex Rope & Packaging they now occupy an 8500 sq foot unit, 19 - 20 Balena Close Creekmoor Industrial Estate Poole. Due to serious problems with our existing telephone company we are still not sure if we are able to retain our existing telephone number. Please be assured we are doing out utmost to resolve this very difficult situation as quickly as possible. This will be an on-going project as the premises are in need of major refurbishment, however due to the legal and property purchase taking such a long time, this has now all happened very quickly. We exchanged contract on the purchase on Monday 14th January 2013, and then completed the purchase on Friday 18th January 2013 – We have to vacate our existing premises by 28th January 2013. Please do bear with us during this difficult time.
We are endeavouring to keep up our good service, and hope to improve on this with a new showroom for you to come and see us.

We now supplier a range of batteries and fixing brackets along with FEV Fire Extinguishers.

VOSA Approval !
We approached VOSA and the Department of Transport, and asked them to compare the FIA standard with the BS3254. After much patience, persuasion and a great deal of diplomacy, they have agreed to approve FIA belts as well as the old BS3254:1960 or BS3254 Part 1 1988 –It does also mean the belts will pass any MOT without any question. This is excellent news for Prima, and also for all our customers, who are now safe in the knowledge that a British Product is approved by a British Government Department, and is fully legal to use.
